Cervinia - Aosta Valley - Italy

Cervinia is situated on the Italian side of the majestic Matterhorn. With a village elevation of over 2000m, this is one of the highest Ski Areas in Europe. The top ski runs start at close to 3900m, giving the area a Snow Sure feature from early December till mid April. Cervinia itself has 150km of prepared runs to the village and a Total of 350km available through the lift-link to Zermatt.

The village is typically Italian offering good food at reasonable prices.

Cervinia offers some of the best intermediate skiing at altitude in the world with stunning scenery once you are on the mountain.  The connection with Zermatt is a huge bonus, opening up an enormous area of extra terrain. There are some great bars and fantastic restaurants on the mountain as well.

The "Indian Snowboard Park" is one of the best in Italy, skiers are also welcome here.

Accommodation is approximately 80m from the nearest ski lift. If beginner lessons are held at Plan Maison, there is a short uphill walk required on the first day. Brilliant Family Resort where kids can "Do their own thing" close to the Hotels in the Kids Zone which is flooded in Sunshine for most of the day.

The Car Free center of the village adds to the village charm.

The Hosted option is normally available over Christmas and New year with the Essentials / Champagne Option available throughout the Season.
